""What was the nature of the "attack""" Ask Commander..... in fact.... do you know whether Commander was put to sleep? 24 bites... do you defend him and his biting?
I'm no longer in the habit of answering questions for people who won't answer the ones I asked first.
If she would answer, I would. Until then, I have evidence she's already lied, so I have no reason to trust her lying, animal abusing ass anyway.
This is how far the GOP has fallen. Even 10 years ago, the GOP candidate would write books about the ‘Tortured by Viet Cong army, but did not waver from loving his nation". Now they write books about "killing dogs and want to kill someone else (Biden) dog."
Children sometimes do something they shouldn't do to aggravate a dog. Children are not expected to act like responsible adults. The child could do something like push the dog and the dog might attack. The child's life is more important than the dog's. When I was very young, maybe six years old, I was playing and shoved my next door neighbor's dog out of my way.. The dog nearly tore my ear off. I still have the scars. The dog was usually very friendly and we played around it frequently. Special care has to be taken when it concerns children. If a dog shows any aggressiveness at all, it should not be around children.
I await your evidence that this was an actual concern in this case. Shall I cook a four course meal and plan on a response when I'm done cooking, hosting, and digesting? Also, you should be ashamed for not knowing that there are ways to separate your dog from children that don't involve murdering the dog in a gravel pit.
And you'd rather kill the dog you claimed to love than make that trip? If this comes up again, I'll spot you the gas money, dude. Just please don't kill your dog just because you don't have a good audio book to listen to. Maybe I'm just not used to being around people who live outside the country, but 100 miles is a pretty common trip to visit family where I live.
Does that include chaining them up or fencing them in when they would prefer to run free. Is that more humane than instantly ending their life?
Yes. Caring for your dog is more humane than killing them because you are too lazy to take care of them. Finding them a home also works.
If it was a dog I loved, I would take it to the vet to either cure it or euthanize it. If it is a stray, I will let you know and you can come and get it because it is just as much your responsibility as it is mine.
How much more humane can you get than a shot in the head? From all I have read, they do not feel it. They are dead before their nervous system reacts. And again, I am not talking about my dog. I am talking about strays that someone dropped off.
I'll say this, I have owned about 6 German Shepherd Dogs at different times and registered them with the AKC. They are my favorite breed. --- From the net . . . What is the most feared dog in the world? 1. Pit Bull. The American pit bull terrier is perhaps the most notorious of all dog breeds. They are banned in many communities, and always seem to be at fault for any newsworthy dog attack.
Since it is my thread, it is about anything I choose. In fact, I started off by stating that I had killed stray dogs.
@kriman ""The child could do something like push the dog and the dog might attack. The child's life is more important than the dog's."" Yep...... I am sure there are those on here that seperate a crawling baby and a dog... why... because the response from the dog getting an eye poked or tailed pulled is not predictable on some dogs... as this dog tried to bite her... it would be top on that list.. And folks need to remember.... you are liable
You could actually have them euthanized by a vet. Which is more reliable and humane. We, again, have evidence from her own book that she's a bad ****ing shot. And strays are completely off-topic. They have nothing to do with any of this.
The same used to be true of German Shepherds and even Blood Hounds. They are banned due to idiocy. A new breed will be the next boogeyman.
Then you started off by making an argument that had no bearing on the actual story. If you would treat your own pets the same way you would treat strays, then say so (even though you have said the opposite). If you would treat them differently, then you are admitting that your comparison is dishonest.
She shot dogs. I shot dogs. To the dog, it makes no difference. I would take a pet to the vet with the hope that he could cure it. Since it is already at the vet, I would have the vet euthenize it if he could not cure it because I would prefer not to kill the dog myself. If it was my dog and it turned out to be dangerous around children and I had young children it is likely I would kill it myself, I can't be absolutely sure, because I have never been in that situation. I would not take a stray to the vet because it would cost me time and money. The vet would charge me and I would have to drive a hundred miles round trip to do something which I can do myself in a few minutes at no cost except a few cents for a bullet. The dog does not know the difference in the way it dies.
Only a psycopath would defend killing a dog because it was deemed “less than worthless” and “untrainable".
Well if nothing else I'm sure her children are well behaved. Traumatized yes, but still Very well behaved.
