We call that a red herring. Trump isn't a pedophile or murderer. He is not in jail. He has been gagged while nobody else around the trial has been gagged. And, interestingly, the gag order involves silence about things not related to what is happening in the court room. It is unconstitutional. You will learn that from the appellate court in the unlikely event Trump is convicted.

What is he gagged from saying in the courtroom?

Yes. And there is nothing wrong with the booking entry. It is normal. So he is responsible for a normal booking entry. Hang in there.

The entry is not normal. It tries to pass off a campaign expenditure as a legal expense.

He is not gagged about saying what happens in the courtroom. He is not gagged from that since it is public knowledge. He can't talk about the case. He will have a chance to talk in the trial if he chooses to do so.

How does it do that? They wrote a check to a lawyer. It was a legal expense, likely to re-imburse the lawyer for payments he made to people who agreed to an NDA. What on earth does it have to do with the campaign? It was about hiding his indescretions with a couple of women. It happens fairly regularly with rich people who venture into sex with people to whom they are not married and is not illegal.

I read it. You asked if he is gagged from talking in the courtroom. I answered explaining that he will have a chance to talk in courtroom if he chooses to. Sorry it confused you.

Not everything you pay your lawyer for is a legal expense. Paying your lawyer to wash your care is not a legal expense. Come back when you learn this, then we can talk.

I'm glad you agree that he was lying when he said the opposite. Sorry that confused you.

Corporate checks from substantial companies are not signed by anyone. At best they use a signature stamp. I don't even write checks. I pay my bills electronically.

How do you know that? Have you never received a check from government or a substantial company? I live on Krypton since you ask.

Lol, dude, the checks have been made public. With his signature. His staff has testified that he signed the checks. Your inability to follow the case isn't my problem.

The cheques were physically Fedex-ed to the WH with the invoices attached, were reviewed and signed by him and Fedex-ed back to the Trump Org. Any missing cheques were followed up by the bookeeper. All per today's testimony.

Thanks. That is unusual. Even I don't sign my company checks and I'm a small business. I pay my bills electronically.

It was testified to in court today by Alan W., Trump's CFO, assistant. The cheques were sent back and forth using Fedex.

It isn't unusually to use physical checks for large payments. I don't personally do 30,000+ payments without a physical check. I don't even think I was allowed to do so without a physical check when I put the downpayment on my home.

Well, in an large org or corp, dual sigs are always solid internal control. Any auditor worth their salt would insist on this.

Few auditors are worth their salt, then.

Passing off a campaign contribution as a legal expense is.

He probably expects his loyalists to think he came up with a profound line.
