Lol, how many times did Bush declare executive privilege whenever Congress came a knockin'

Do you happen to have a pic of Obama giving Congress the finger? I'd love to make a poster of this momentous occasion so that I can hang it on my wall. It's about time that Obama told Congress to go (*)(*)(*)(*) itself...

Congress has the power to issue subpoena's. The president has the equal power under the Constitution to ignore it. Remember, Congress has their very own limits under the Constitution.

Obama is inept and dangerous but he IS acting within the Constitution, just as Bush was when the dems were trying to make political hay.

it's the same as his records and past. that's why we need to prove that he is a cover up enabler. very suspicious behavior again from the transparent president.

The president cannot be compelled to testify before congress.

But the president's men do not have that privilege.

    They are subject to subpoena's.

clintons aides were forced to testify. when it comes to matters of crime, congress is much bigger than the president.

Not according to the courts...executive privilege covers senior officials.

The circle is complete and the generation that grew up hating Nixon and his crimes and felonious obstruction is now engaging in the most Nixonian of behavior. You leftists now are what you hated and feared the most.

    How does it feel?

Obama has to invoke presidential privilege through a formal process.

    And it's not absolute.

It must involve matters of national security.

And it is a true privilege not a right that is secured in the Constitution.

Presidential privilege can be challenged and overruled by the courts.

That is true but once invoked, it stands until a serious court reverses it.

Sure, and the pro Obama lib news media will not hound this White House day and night as long as he is in contempt of congress.

So it will have a lesser affect on Der Furher than it would a Republican president.

But Obama will pay a political price for stonewalling.
