Why must the antiscience right always strawman everything? Save the planet is a slogan if you will and it is not supposed to be taken literally as saving the planet, but saving the natural conditions on the planet.
then when animals and insects defoliate a tree and the tree dies, should those animals/insects be eradicated so trees can remain in their "natural condition"? That was a nice try on your part.
Can all the antiscience idiots just say, "YES!" so I can IL them all. I'm getting bored of all the logical fallacies that these children keep restating.
So you support that pinhead's idiotic move to freeze a bunch of school kids? Lefties are the most irrational people on earth.
Al Gore the twenty fifth will stand up and say it is a manmade problem and we can stop it if we just send him millions of dollars.
He's an idiot and our public school system sucks. Liberal ideology has corrupted the curriculum and the kids are subjected to agenda. In addition, "No child left behind" was a disaster. Does that clear it up for ya?
First the sun isn't going to go "nova" it's not big enough. It will turn into a black dwarf. Second that will take about 5 billion years... so I doubt any of Al Gore's offspring will play any part.
Funny. And how much did they spend re-heating the building? Reminds me of a time when I worked at a company in Dallas and some accountant asked the engineers and scientists to turn off their workstations before leaving for the evening to save energy. We told him that it would significantly reduce the life of the machines, but that didn't keep upper management from forcing us to it anyway. A month or two later, $25,000 workstations started going out. After almost a dozen died, they finally decided the extra cost to keep them powered on all the time was worth it. Nobody ever admitted fault.
Define "Natural conditions". Then tell us all since you are the "expert" with your "science" how freezing 600+ kids for a day helps that "natural condition" Do tell.
Of course no one admitted fault. This argument is absurd. Turning off workstations at night does NOT make them "fail". Another "old engineer's tale!"
You're right. Our sun isn't big enough. But it's to my understanding that it'll turn to a white dwarf. Never heard of a black dwarf. Think I'll look that up....hang on.... So, the universe (this incarnation) hasn't been around long enough for a black dwarf to form. Thanks for sparking my interest in this, Veni. I just love all this stuff - it fascinates me.
Before our Red Giant inevitably engulfs earth and renders it a scorched, lifeless rock hurling through space at 67,000 miles per hour, how many times do you suppose the peaks and valleys depicted below will be repeated?
I was commenting on the crappy science the right wing used in this thread. If you guys spent more time actually educating yourselves you'd be able to keep up with discussion such as this one. The sun won't go nova as it's not a white dwarf. The sun won't go supernova as it's not a white dwarf or a star with enough mass. 5 billion years is not the same as what the current generation will experience. Try and keep up.
A graph showing a history of Global Temperatures has nothing to do with a thread about "Climate Change"? You and your anti-science!
The earth's natural warming and cooling cycles have "nothing to do with it"? My curiosity is piqued...elaborate.
Wouldn't it have been smarter for him to do something useful like teach the children to carry a reusable water bottle? Or to limit their waste? Seems the principal could have found a few better ways to teach environmental responsibility to the children that would have been less dramatic, and actually create some changes.
Ffs, the red giant phase has nothing to do with it so stop (*)(*)(*)(*)ing bringing it up. Neither has anything to do with the other and mentioning one while talking about the other is a red herring. Also I can point to various natural causes of death and according to the retarded logic you antiscience types use that disproves murder.
Yes, nothing to do with red giants, also has nothing to do with human causes warming as B is not always caused by A even if A has caused it in the past. I tripped over a stick yesterday. Today I tripped over so it must be a stick. That's the logic of the antiscience right.
1) stop ranting 2) I never mentioned the sun 3) You never defined " Natural Conditions" 4) Im hardly anti-science.
You're commenting on my comments to those who did. Your comments on my comments are not in isolation to what my comments were addressing.
See post #90 I never mentioned the sun. Get over yourself. So i will ask you AGAIN. What the hell does freezing 600+ kids have to do with Climate Change? What did it accomplish besides being a publicity stunt. And define " Natural Conditions"
