One of the few things I admire about America..

..is that it executes its criminals.

The trouble is that it executes the wrong ones.

China executes corporate fraudsters.

The US goes after people whose existence is neither here nor there.

Mainly blacks, I gather.

 

Not only that, but they have spectators who fight over ticket rights to view the drawing of the curtains and the insertion of the vials.

How macabre is that?

And they claim they are the most civilised country on earth.

 

I don't think China is really a good role model for the US. Nothing personal.

I also no longer support capital punishment, be it Donald Trump, or some poor

black people.

I predicted you wouldn't read anything about death penalty facts in America. You make comments about the US which are usually wrong and become defensive when you're called on it. Seriously, don't you get tired of trolling? Whenever I see your posts, I immediately expect to read something like the following:

 

Well I am all for the death penalty and I feel it should be used much, much more. That being said the level of proof needs to be a bit higher. I mean if you can not execute a person because you don't feel the crime was that bad then why in the hell would you put them in prison for life? Kill them or let them go.

Well reform does not work and they chose to take a life. Why the hell should they live on the tax payers dollar?

Personally I think we need to clean up our society as well.

One screws for gratification and the other for profitisation. Both deserve imprisonment for life but the US can no longer afford it, so they ignore the Wall Street bankers that caused the economy to collapse.

It's rather strange that. Ponzi schemes are illegal but creating the illusion that one can buy a home for practically no interest on the loan, but then high-jacking it to an unsustainable rate to create a foreclosure is not.

 

If you actually follow the money you will find that blind investors are what got them there. 401K and money market and IRA ring a bell? People are happy as long as their pocket is lined but let bad things happen and all of the sudden it is the bankers fault. Hell the citizens are just as bad. All but the poorest share in the complicity. And if the poor had money they would be complicit as well.

Greed and selfishness are abundant across all classes.

 

You have a criminal elite as well as a greedy, ignorant underclass.

The Chinese execute the criminal financiers.

But there is something to the argument that your criminal financiers should be allowed to live.

In order to tease the greed and ignorance of the underclasses dumb enough to believe in them.

 

And the death penalty doesn't work too well as a deterrent to other people.

Just as the executioners choose to take a life. What shall we do with them?

The death penalty is ultimately more expensive than life in prison.

I admire very little about the US but killing people isn't one of them.

 

Imprisonment for pathological criminals, especially pedaphiles, with observation and experiments being conducted upon them to determine how much of brain deformity was genetic, and how much was altered by environmental conditions.

 

It's only wrong because Moses thought it would look good on his tablet.

There are plenty of worthy candidates to hasten on to whatever fantasy they believe about the afterlife.

Consider it this way. Does the planet really need to accommodate zillions of people it would be better off without? And who would be happier dead (so they believe) anyway?

We would be doing them a favour.
