It is just a little infuriating when it is obvious that the proportion of the budget which the upper 10% pay relative to their share of GDP is only about 1 Trillion out of their 8-10
Trillion pie. Then a defender of Fuedalism trys to justify the Lords lion share being off the table by redirecting focus only on income taxation %. Since income for wealthy is interest on their leasing and investments from all the land and resources they already own, and since it is THEY who decide what NET they will report to the IRS, NO WONDER an anomaly.14.8 Trillion GDP, yet 40 million people are in poverty, with another 100 million struggling to not fall into it, and the shrinking middleclass being manipulated into paying 2/3 of the 3 Trillion annual Budget, from 1/3rd of GDP, while the 2/3 GDP crowd pays less than 1/3.

It gets even worse as it approaches the 1% who have about 37% of GDP or about 6 Trillion dollars worth of property, resources, etc. They literally pay nothing. They pass on the bill to the other 20% upper income, who, likewise pass it on to those who lease from them. ITS A PYRAMID SCHEME. No wonder there is the pyramid with the "EYE" above it on the 1 dollar bill.

The poor DO NOT pay a significant portion of ANY tax. The middle class pays a small portion and the bulk is paid by the rich.
