Why do people keep mixing physical authority to moral authority? If recognizing Palestine is such a morally inept thing to do why are so many countries doing it? Are they all anti-Semitic, like some would have you believe, or perhaps when power and political influence are removed from the equation you are left with is the moral indignation of the Israel-Palestine conflict becomes clear.
1- It doesn't cost anything 2- It makes them popular to the appologist 3- They hope to capitalise on it at a later date.
1) Supporting America/Israel doesn't cost anything either! 2) So they can become popular to apologist or America/Israel/European Zionist. Again i'm not sure where your going with this. 3) This is just stretching! I don't know how a little country with no military, political or economical power is going to capitilise on this issue.
1- Of course it cost them. They are non-alligned fence sitter and have been since the end of WW2 and even before that. They would have to do some work or foot part of the bill, which they can't. 2- America and Israel, or the west for that matter, are already popular. We are the driving force in this world. 3- Tourism, foreign investment from ME countries. They are broke. They didn't pay up on their debt and now no one wants to lend them any money.
