What did Paul's newsletter say that proves him to be a racist?

Didn't Ron Paul just get snippy with a CNN reporter? So then CNN runs this? Gotta love liberal media and their juvenile ways!

Not only that but it took me 10 seconds to find...

    http://www.theatlantic.com/politics...y-behind-ron-pauls-racist-newsletters/250338/

"In 1996 when the Texas Monthly investigated the newsletters, Paul took responsibility for them and said that certain things were taken out of context. (It's hard to imagine a context that would make the above quotes defensible.)"

So CNN is ignorant of the facts or they are lying. Pick one

I would be "snippy" if i was asked over and over the same questions that have been answered countless times. Face it CNN and their ilk are dragging this out yet again to try to lower his Iowa numbers. It reeks of desperation.

They are ignoring the facts and lying, its one of the few things liberals can multi-task at; that and stealing your money with one and while patting you on the head and telling you its for your own good...

    here's what one said:

"Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks"

like the typical crooked politician, ron paul's lying in order to cover up his racism

he also claims libertarians are incapable of being racist

Because a true libertarian sees people as individuals not according to skin color.

    Its common sense.

You should have saved that for last because it's the worst anyone has been able to come up with.

But wasn't Rodney King black and wasn't the LA riots an incident of blacks rioting in their own neighborhood?

    I think it was.

Who can forget the images of blacks dragging the white truck driver out of his truck and beating him senseless?

Or Korean shopkeepers shooting black people to protect their stores from looting?

no, it's msinformation that was dreamed up by ron paul's friend, murry rothbard

he strategized that libertarians ought to reach out to rednecks in order to indoctrinate them with their libertarian propaganda

Seeing people as individuals is propaganda???? Right... I really hope you are getting paid to post this trash. Hate to think someone would actually believe this nonsense.

So what I take from this is not only does the Republican establishment have the same policies as the far left, they have the same smear tactics as well.

Let's just call this for what it is. The GOP is trying to defend its corrupt bureaucracy that lets them live high on the hog like parasites from a principled Ron Paul.

Do you really think a candidate being a racist is going to turn off conservative voters?

    Have you read this forum?????

Do you think looking at people as individuals is a bad thing? Yes or no. I could care less about Rothbard or Rockwell.

Are you really that naive to think that conservative = racist and liberal = anti-racist.

It didn't bother Obama voters when he ran for office.

But you still have not proven that Ron Paul is a racist.

it doesn't matter what i think, the point is that it's just propagandistic preaching, not something he practices

The most detailed description of the strategy came in an essay Rothbard wrote for the January 1992 Rothbard-Rockwell Report, titled "Right-Wing Populism: A Strategy for the Paleo Movement." Lamenting that mainstream intellectuals and opinion leaders were too invested in the status quo to be brought around to a libertarian view, Rothbard pointed to David Duke and Joseph McCarthy as models for an "Outreach to the Rednecks," which would fashion a broad libertarian/paleoconservative coalition by targeting the disaffected working and middle classes. (Duke, a former Klansman, was discussed in strikingly similar terms in a 1990 Ron Paul Political Report.) These groups could be mobilized to oppose an expansive state, Rothbard posited, by exposing an "unholy alliance of 'corporate liberal' Big Business and media elites, who, through big government, have privileged and caused to rise up a parasitic Underclass, who, among them all, are looting and oppressing the bulk of the middle and working classes in America."

    http://reason.com/archives/2008/01/16/who-wrote-ron-pauls-newsletter

of course many conservative voters won't be turned off by ron paul's racism, just the opposite

    I dont care about Rothbard.

Of course it matters what you think. We are on a political forum where people debate topics and thoughts.

So answer the question. Do YOU think seeing people as individuals is a bad thing?

Since the Democrats under Obama have officially decided to be anti-white in the next election why shouldn't whites band together and look out for themselves?

    What's the difference between a pro-white and a pro-black policy by presidents?
