I'm tired of defending ignorant black people.

I've recently come to the realization that it isn't hard to get an education, a decent job, not commit crimes, have 30 kids, etc. I've always known this, but I guess its just hitting home now. I want...really want people to realize that most black people are decent hard working people, but there is a sub culture in the "race" that I can't defend anymore. The stereotypes..that I don't care for anymore. Why these people choose to fall into that category I don't know....don't really care anymore because like I said, living a "regular" life isn't hard. Its easier. Its easier than being apart of that subculture. Everytime I see one of them on the news for breaking into somebodys house or something I can't help myself but to chuckle..because....well...its funny. They have nobody to blame but themselves....thats all..

 

Ignorance is a right.

i feel your pain-that's why i've given up on a lot of white people. we all have brain cramps from time to time, but some people seem to make a career out of them. there's no shortage of stupid, there's plenty to go around and no decline in production in the foreseeable future.

While it's true that being born into poverty or other circumstances which make life difficult can seriously affect the ability of one to progress in life, ultimately it's up to the individual to recognize and understand that that they have the ability to improve their life circumstances, and that they must take the appropriate steps which lead to a better life. This is possible for any person who is brave enough to accept this truth, and anyone who is strong enough to live accordingly.

 

We in Russia easier to treat this complicated issue. We have no problems due to lack of
of blacks. But many Chinese, they are also a lot of hard work, like the rest of the people of Russia.

I guess I'm not getting why you previously felt the need to defend "ignorant black people." The ignorant are not popular or easy to defend. It sounds like it was a lot of work.

 

I understand , ignorant people are annoying!! and if I were you I would just avoid them no matter what culture they are from .

 

Question, why "black", why point to race, instead of ignorance itself?
If we are honest, we have to admit that ignorance knows no color, race, ethnicity.

I can think of nothing political I enjoy more - truly enjoy - than a smart man who has been immersed/ in/surrounded by leftist ideology who looks around, and uses his own common sense and wisdom and says "this isn't right".

And begins the journey to an ideology that provides satisfactory answers.

You should never have to defend ignorance … regardless of pigmentation, because the color of your skin has never determine your ability to learn.

I blame a lot of it on the media that glorifies the urban-ghetto, "keepin' it real" culture.

Additionally, a lot of the subculture you describe seems to believe that the only path to success is either by becoming a rapper, or else a petty criminal.

I know some people in Utah who got relocated there in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. They think Katrina was the best thing that ever happened to them - they got out of New Orleans and into an area where their kids have a chance, out of the urban, gang-bangin' ghetto, and into something better.

 

that is all well and good but it shouldn't detract from governments responsibility to equalize someone coming from a middle class or rich neighborhood with someone coming from a poor war zone

Granted to seems the American sub-cultures glorify the wrong people. Christopher Hitchens dies, and we hear almost nothing. Michael Jackson dies, and my god, all of the farewells for the world best dancer (note the absence of the word "musician".

However I suppose the difference, and the issue I have, is that the other cultures, whether it be promoting the brainless nature of Snookie, or the hillbilly ways of country culture, they do not promote the ghetto life style. I do not hear country music speaking of selling drugs, beating women, or simply dismissing women as nothing more than sexual objects. A ghetto lifestyle is not something to be proud of or purposefully life. Simply inexcusable to promote it.

I have very little respect for the idols of "black culture".

 

It's also easier to say to Edison you're making the lightbulb wrong. Have peace with yourself, few cultures around the world, ever act stupid for long periods of time. And you're talking about a culture that revolves around how poor it is.
