This according to a former aide.

WASHINGTON — A former aide to Ron Paul has labelled the Republican White House hopeful as "anti-Israel" after the rediscovery of racially charged newsletters published under the lawmaker's name in the 1980s and 1990s.

The staunchly libertarian candidate "wishes the Israeli state did not exist at all," wrote Eric Dondero in a column for website RightWingNews.com published Monday. "He expressed this to me numerous times in our private conversations."

Dondero -- a senior aide from 1997 to 2003, and earlier an assistant in various campaign roles beginning in the late 1980s -- said the lawmaker "sides with the Palestinians, and supports their calls for the abolishment of the Jewish state, and the return of Israel, all of it, to the Arabs."

    Source

The former aid went on to say Paul is not anti-semetic or racist, just anti-israel, denying their right to exist as a state.

I know I know, more lies. I'm just a big hater for bringing this crap up.

Every US President since Truman has wished that Israel didn't exist.

He was a disgruntled campaign employee who was fired and then ran against Paul in TX.

That must be it. Ron Paul couldn't possibly be misrepresenting his views on Israel.

He isn't misrepresenting anything. Israel does NOT need any more of OUR money. They can fight their own (*)(*)(*)(*) war.

Yeah, everyone knows Paul loves Israel. He'd never support the Iranians having nukes.

Iran having a nuke isnt a threat to Israel who has hundreds. Israel has done strikes in Syria and Iraq in the past to knock out supposed nuclear sites. They would do the same now to Iran but Iran can actually fight back.

There will be no peace in middle east as long as Right wing loons like Ahmadinejad, Netan-yahoo and Christian evangelicals influence that part of the world.

Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul is not anti-Israel and does not advocate Israel's abolishment as a Jewish state, a former aide told Haaretz on Tuesday.

The remarks by Dr. Leon Hadar, an Israeli and U.S. citizen, who used to be among Paul's foreign policy advisors during his 2008 presidential campaign, came a day after another former Paul aide, Eric Dondero, wrote in his blog that the presidential hopeful “wishes the Israeli state did not exist at all.”

How is it about that again? Did Dr. Paul deny that Israel has a right to exist?

I agree with Dr. Paul on this. Israel should have been carved out of Germany.

Yes, apparently Ron Paul does not support their right to exist, at least where they are, which has been their historic land for thousands of years. And you agree.

And if Ron Paul does believe this, this means he's been lying recently about supporting Israel. Yet another politically motivated flip flop.

How bout a Cain challenge to Paul..

"Would Paul take a lie detector test on the subject of Israel and the newsletters ?"

It would seem just as silly about asking Cain on the issue of cheating and trust.
Lets see if Paul takes the challenge.

Before we jump to conclusions here we should probably ask ourselves whether this guy is not just lying and being paid to lie? I know that Ron Paul's two biggest intellectual heroes and idols are Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard, both of which are jews. He also has a large bust of Ludwig von Mises in his office so I find it a little hard to believe that Ron Paul is anti-semitic (which is what this hit-piece is implying).

The establishment has access to enormous amounts of money, I would not be surprised if they hadnt payed this guy a mil or two in order to get him to write a good story on Ron Paul now that he has become a credible threat to their ideological hegemony.
