I understand where Obama's support originated. He made many unkept promises to his supporters. I also understand that eight long years of Bush policies helped Obama into office. However, can anyone please explain to me why Obama has any remaining support, when he clearly isn't the man he claimed to be?
Ok lets assume for a second that you are correct. Do you honestly think that Obama is a Socialist? It's amazing to me how many believe that even after the insurance mandate that will require everyone to purchase private insurance. What could have been better for big insurance? Do you realize how much money these companies are making now?
There are many people with there head in the sand and have no clue what is going on in this country. They have no idea what our debt is and how "free healthcare" will actually do to the country. They do not have even the most fundamental understanding of the Constitution. Also, Obama is still being given every benefit of the doubt by the media, and they are clearly putting a positive spin on his many failures.
Because conservatives are almost intolerable. I have never voted for a Democrat and I can see why people would prefer Obama to anyone the conservatives are running. They are the same thing but conservatives are bigger (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s and no nothings.
Clearly Obama believes in the Marxist tenant of "wealth redistribution" (his own words). While he may not be an "all-out Socialist" (one who believe in government ownership of all private property), he definitely adheres to Marxist philosphy, which can be seen in his healthcare policy. Certainly giving government the power to force private citizens to buy a product stinks of Marxism. Obamacare puts much more power into the government over these companies. Do you think insurance companies want to cover everyone regardless of their prior medical conditions?
That's my point though. It doesn't matter which of the two parties you vote for. You end up with the same results. When will people actually start thinking for themselves?
Yes. Absolutely they do. As long as everyone is forced to purchase something they don't need, the insurance companies will continue to take in record profits. The insurance lobbyist wrote the legislation, just as many other lobbying groups write laws in their fields. Marxism would provide a lesser service at the expense of the state. This isn't Marxism. The technical definition of a corporate state would be fascism.
Why is it so hard to believe that Obama is a Socialist? There are a lot of people who believe in Socialism. There are also a lot of Americans who don't even know what Socialism means but think Socialism is better than Capitalism.
Socialism would provide services to the people at the expense of the state. Which of Obama's policies can be described as socialist. The health care mandate to purchase insurance from insurance companies?
Do you believe that Vladimir Lenin would have put laws into place that forced people to BUY insurance?
"From each according to their ability, to each according to their need" Let's get one thing perfectly (*)(*)(*)(*)ing clear.... Obamacare does not force "everyone" to purchase health insurance... its mandate only "forces" those who have the "ability" to pay for it.... while subsidizing, in whole or in part, "47 million" who wealth redistributing, "victim" vote harvesting, progressive leftist dependency pimps have deemed in "need"
In society there will always be people who refuse to carry their own weight, its just the nature of it. However, that doesn't refute the fact that this mandate was the best thing that could have happened for the insurance industry. Make no mistake, that wasn't by accident either. That was the way the legislation was designed. Its a far cry from socialism, and Obama lovers need to see the reality. Obama doesn't give two sh*ts about the people that elected him.
