I am not a friend of animal research, but there is no NIH institute that DOESN'T fund animal research. Unfortunately, without it, most modern prescription medicine wouldn't exist. So, this is just another RW hit piece on Fauci.

 

I think Fauci is a lying political opportunist who really doesn't give a crap about humans other than himself. I thought that before this story came out. As someone who has had beagles as pets since birth, I find this "research" vile. It, however, doesn't make me dislike him more. It just confirms my already lowest possible opinion of him as a human being.

Feel free to take your head out of the partisan sand and recognize how sick and evil this was. They cut the puppies vocal cords so the "scientists" could not hear the puppies' cries and whines as they were being slowly eaten alive.

 

He approved the needless torture and killing of many puppies. Some of the crap they do is seriously depraved.

 

This case is really troubling. They were testing the puppies for problems they already had answers to. It makes no sense and is pretty evil.

He'll lie and say he didn't. Then evidence will come out that shows he did. Then some spokesperson will step in and say he 'misspoke' or 'didn't understand the question'. But in the end nothing will happen.

 

Our food industry murders billions of animals every year, after keeping them in inhumane conditions. This is far worse than experiments on animals that actually help science progress and save lives. If you oppose experiments on animals, then you must be vegan too.

 

Much to their chagrin, Fauci and the nih isn't going anywhere.
