Well its pretty obvious what this is inching towards: illegals voting and being counted as voters in federal elections. All illegals can get drivers licences in California and now those licences lead to automatic voter registration. The talk about how "safeguards" are in place to rpevent the illegals from being automatically enrolled. But here's the thing. California does nothing more than asking a person who's applying for a drivers licence if they're illegal. There are no hard citizenship checks in that process outside of a checkbox that you can leave empty and still be processed. Now lets consider something here. Liberals have these illegals on a mental plantation, that's obvious. And a big part of keeping them there is keeping them scared. Illegals in liberal areas think the big bad racist White border patrol is waiting around every corner. Why would any of these people voluntarily admit that they are illegal when they have no good reason to? Yea. Illegal voting, its already happening and California is making it easier and easier every year. I think at some point in the future we'll have to seriously consider invalidating all votes from California in federal elections and reject any delegate they send to Congress. Sorry, Americans vote in American elections and if these traitors don't want to ensure that then they'll surrender their right to participate.

Damn I just got done schooling you on statistics in another thread and now I get to school you on reading comprehension in this one. The DMV doesn't verify citizenship, yes. That is the, uh, point. They don't verify citizenship, they just give out drivers licenses to people who apply for them as well as automatically enrolling those same people to vote. The only "safeguard" agianst an illegal being enrolled to vote here is a simple checkbox on a form, "are you a citizen yes/no", that has the ability to be processed whether it has been marked or not. And the response, or lack of response, to that question is not verified by the DMV ...or ANYONE ELSE! An illegal can mark "yes" to the citizenship question and be enrolled to vote. An illegal can skip the question entirely and be enrolled to vote. Nobody is checking this, that's the whole point. Now add this to alllllllllll of the other sneaky little ways that California has chipped away the voting system and what you have is a crystal clear pattern with a crystal clear goal: Getting illegals to vote freely and getting those illegals counted as voters.
Those who want to be registered to vote as part of their DMV application for driver's license must provide proof of age. The major methods for that include birth certificate or passport - which also identify citizenship, obviously. Also, this information then gets passed to the the Sec. State, as they own the registration database and can make further determination as they see fit. There have been some very recently decided court cases on this stuff. It might be a good idea to let that shake out. Let's remember that "automatic" is a loaded political term. ALL registration is "automatic" if you decide to discount looking at documents.
Whenever ICE arrests illegals and has one of these newer licenses they should look to see if he voted or not, if he did, slap some additional jail time on him before shipping his culo back to Mexico.
Solution would be for the Fed's to disallow any votes being used in a Presidential elections and to strip CA of all Congresscritters and Senators until they can prove that their elections are legal.
The collective is determined to allow illegal aliens (people who come and go, at will, unchecked and unregulated) the right to vote. I guess every country in the world will have a say in US politics.

Perhaps you should research and educate yourself instead of listening to Faux Noise. https://www.dmv.org/ca-california/ab-60-drivers-license.php DL for people who can't verify their identity will be mark as such, and go through a different application process. So the question is....does an ab-60 application have this voter check box on it. You don't know yet you jump at this conclusion that it it does.
