On 26 of March, 2017, half of the globe went on the rallies - from Sanct-Petersburg to Vladivostok - people went on rallies against corruption in the government.

I'm sure Putin will say they are paid protesters paid by Soros, and our so-called president will agree.
It takes real guts to protest in Putin's Russia.
    Definitely unhealthy.

You serious? Rallies against corruption. What you trying to do restore my faith that Russians actually care in good government?

Maybe so, maybe no, but will they give up being an aggressive empire that invades their neighbors?

I need to check BBC. American media may not carry this yet.

If these are real yes you are correct that it is dangerous to protest in Putin's Russia. Yes the Trumpeizdas and other haters of America do blame Soros for everything. They even call him a Nazi, and the man is Jewish !

These are real, I assure you. As for why they happen - they happen because citizens of RF chose to go. Because we care about our country.

Perhaps Americans should take a leaf out of Russian's book and show some guts. Rally against the corruption within the U.S establishment. Americans losing jobs, 50 million living in poverty, homelessness on rise etc.while their politicians are getting richer and richer.

A message to Russkies. Learn from Cicero.

    The Traitor is the Plague

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.

A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

    -Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106 BC - 43 B

I have great respect for Cicero, and do not know most of the names you gave in list, vaguely know Khodorkovsky and surprised to find Navalny in this list. What kind of act of treason he has committed, what are you accusing him of?

There is incredible depth to their stupidity. They learned the word Nazi is bad, so they call people they don't like Nazi. I also laugh when these mentally-challenged ones call some in the Democratic party fascists - when, in fact, the GOP is the party veering very close to fascism, but since they only know the word is bad they'll call people communist AND fascist - when those are opposites,
The Trump Chumps are, indeed, "special".
Back to Putin - Putin has what Trump wants - control of the media. That is a powerful tool.

And by the way, I can say that in Moscow, at least on Tverskaya street, police was not that beastly. I witnessed them detaining few people, including group of three who got on roof of one of buildings and chanted from there, but generally they were more nervous, than anything. Sincerely, I pity them - they don't deserve to be used by government as meat shield against population.

Soros is not a Nazi... even though he admitted telling the Germans where the Jews were hidden. He's an ideologue like the Soviets, and like them wants to establish a one world government under corporate ownership. So whoever owns the corporations, owns the world.

Enjoy your serfdom! Hmmm, I wonder if the protesters were paid like Maidan? One has to wonder?

I’m not accusing him of anything. He compromised himself long time ago. Anyone who takes money from McCain and similar ilk cannot possibly wish well Russia. But hey, that’s not my problem. Russkies will have to fix it themselves. My only worry is that sick neoconservatives will start a war against your country and then we will all be dragged into it. I really don’t want to see Europe turned into a wasteland.

    Wall Street Vs. Russia
Wall Street's poorly hidden, poorly coordinated agenda in Russia. Who is behind it?

    https://landdestroyer.blogspot.nl/2011/12/wall-street-vs-russia.html

    3. The Henry Jackson Foundation, NED, Alexey Navalny, & Ilya Yashin

We'll keep hearing the name Alexey Navalny until the fact that he is fully subsidized by the US State Department through the National Endowment of Democracy is widely exposed, and like Egypt's Mohamed ElBaradei, cast aside as extra-baggage.

The first clue comes to us from the London, Telegraph who afforded column space to a Mr. Michael Weiss of the Henry Jackson Society, providing a very robust defense for Navalny and his efforts to expose "corruption" during Russia's election. And while Weiss does his best to fend off accusations that Navalny is indeed a foreign agent, calling such accusations "adorably old-fashioned," he fails to point out that, again, the NGOs and poll monitors accusing Russia of rigging the elections, and whom "activists" like Navalny continuously cite as evidence, are all funded by the very US and European governments conducting the NATO military encirclement of Russia.

The background of Weiss' Henry Jackson Foundation should surprise no one. It's corporate-sponsors include (page 18) Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, IBM, General Dynamics, State Farm, and Xerox, while "signatories" of its "statement of principles" include current and former members of the British Government, members of the corporate-financier sponsored Chatham House, and professors throughout British academia.

International patrons include Neo-Con Max Boot - Michael Chertoff - Carl Gershman president of NED - Israeli Ambassador Dore Gold - FPI, Brookings Institution, and PNAC signatory Robert Kagan - Max Kampelman, also a PNAC signatory - Neo-Con William Kristol of the above mentioned FPI and also a PNAC signatory - Clifford May of the Neo-Con Foundations for the Defense of Democracies (FDD) - Neo-Con Richard Perle - former-NATO commander General Jack Sheehan - and Neo-Con warmonger James Woolsey, formally of the CIA and a leading proponent for war with Iran.

One must be forgiven for doubting the genuine resolve of the Henry Jackson Foundation's commitment toward human rights and democracy, since those they associate with have single-handledly done more to exterminate such ideals from our collective human conscience than any other group of villains combined. Their association with Carl Gershman, president of NED who is on record funding NGOs like Golos in Russia, not only write off any legitimacy they portray themselves as having, but also begin to cast serious suspicion on Alexey Navalny whom they are so vigorously defending.

And while Alexey Navalny is renowned for "exposing corruption," at least when profitable, those researching his background begin unraveling his own insidious, compromised agenda. Alexey Navalny was a Yale World Fellow, and in his profile it states:

"Navalny spearheads legal challenges on behalf of minority shareholders in large Russian companies, including Gazprom, Bank VTB, Sberbank, Rosneft, Transneft, and Surgutneftegaz, through the Union of Minority Shareholders. He has successfully forced companies to disclose more information to their shareholders and has sued individual managers at several major corporations for allegedly corrupt practices. Navalny is also co-founder of the Democratic Alternative movement and was vice-chairman of the Moscow branch of the political party YABLOKO. In 2010, he launched RosPil, a public project funded by unprecedented fundraising in Russia. In 2011, Navalny started RosYama, which combats fraud in the road construction sector."
The Democratic Alternative, also written DA!, is indeed a National Endowment for Democracy fund recipient, meaning that Alexey Navalny is an agent of US-funded sedition and willfully hiding it from his followers. The US State Department itself reveals this as they list "youth movements" operating in Russia:
"DA!: Mariya Gaydar, daughter of former Prime Minister Yegor Gaydar, leads DA! (Democratic Alternative). She is ardent in her promotion of democracy, but realistic about the obstacles she faces. Gaydar said that DA! is focused on non-partisan activities designed to raise political awareness. She has received funding from the National Endowment for Democracy, a fact she does not publicize for fear of appearing compromised by an American connection."

Alexey was involved directly in founding a movement funded by the US government and to this day has the very people who funded DA! defending him throughout Western media. The mention of co-founder Mariya Gaydar is also revealing, as she has long collaborated, and occasionally has been arrested with, Ilya Yashin, yet another leader of a NED-funded Russian "activist" opposition group...

Hm, well, I do not find his activities being an any sort of betrayal of RF so far. Again, defending rights o shareholders is not a treason, as well as creating non-governmental anti-corruption ogranisations or having funding from abroad. There are questionable decidions of government that can be much more fitting the descrition of treason, and they stay unqestioned. Stayed, until today.
And true, it's our headache to deal with, and we'll have to watch Navalny ourselves as long as agree with his accusations towards government. After all, that's what we have brain for - thinking, before we act.

Be careful, because at Maidan the people were incited to protest against corruption, so they could kick out the government and put in the American aligned criminals like Yatsenuk and Poroshenko. Ukraine has now turned into Somalia... just the way the one world government freaks wanted it. Now the corporations can buy up the best earth in the world for peanuts. This is what they want to do to Russia.

To be honest though I thought Vladimir Putin had a better handle on the instigators in the country? I know they weren't given permission to protest. Are they being tricked into supporting Navalny who is wanted for corruption? Anyway Putin better start watching the foreign owned press like the Moscow Times with its lies, as well as the American ambassador with his hand outs. He is a well known regime change freak and a trouble maker.

These protests against 'supposed' corruption is going on in the Balkans as well. The EU and Washington one world order freaks, want to stop the gas pipeline from Russia ...as well as the high speed trains that China wants to build for it new silk roads. They are fearful of Russia and China's influence, and want to keep the countries in the Balkans from becoming more self sufficient.

I know that Macedonia is ready to fall apart because of the regime change freaks, and they are calling for Soros and his 40 organizations to get the damn hell out of the country. He's even being investigated in the US congress because of it.

I know, what happened in Ukraine, I see concequences of that for past few years. Thank you for the warning, risks are known. That does not means, I should accept the thivery among the government.

Absolutely Putin rubs Russia like a privately helped corporation and he allows the oligarchs to own fiefdoms like dukes of old. Trump likes that model and Trump is trying to run the US very much like Putin runs Russia.

There is no doubt that there is corruption and thievery in Ukraine. Look at what Yanukovich amassed and hid from the people. I believe thatvYanukovic Knew that being part of the EU he woukd not be allowed to play the role of Putin of Ukraine. So he decided to betray his own country.

I more concerned about fires in center of Kiev, questionable politics of current government, armed conglict in Donbass and inability of that government to deal with problems without use of a crude propaganda. Excuse me, current government of Ukraine sucks. A lot, and on many levels. Sadly, apparently citizens of Ukraine will have to endure it for three more years, unless they deal with it in some way. Or unless Poroshenko's actions will bash the last nail in coffin of Ukraine's integrity and sovereignity.

in the West, not in Russia where they do protest indeed, as seen from the pics & vids, while you West folks fear even to speak out against corruption in Western ruling elites.

The sovereignty of Ukraine is being violated by Russia and the traitors of the east. Invading the Krym is one big assed violation of sovereignty.

Oh, hush up - if not for Kiev's actions, there would've NOT been an armed conflict and 'traitors in the east', and if somebody would've handled the warmongering nationalists in time, Crimea might have not had the referendum at all. I assure you, as long as Poroshenko is in presidental seat and has stupidity to listen to the so called 'right wing' in Ukraine, he has zero chances of getting peaceful negotioations with, basically, ukrainian citizens in Donbass who prefer separatism to the government that he supposed to maintain democratic. He fails the country that gave him trust, and fails it badly.
