What do you mean it was "banned in the USA?" I saw it back then. It was 1962....the year before Kennedy was assasinated. It was NOT banned. It WAS banned in the Eastern block and iron curtain countries......until 1993 when the Soviet Union collapsed. It WAS "suppressed" from movie theaters here....AFTER THE ASSASINATION OF JOHN F. KENNEDY. For obvious reasons.
