Okay they don't have a say in politics, but if they did would it affect their lives that much? Okay, many will, but many will just say, "nothing has really changed in my life".

And don't bring up that "people who don't have freedom are robots" bull crap. These are not people living in slavery, they have a choice, and that is freedom. Now to say that people who lack political "freedom" are slaves, is ridiculous. Sure they might now have the say in their government, but they have the ability to control their own lives. This is to say that everyone has personal freedom (unless your a slave, prisoner, or what not)

I suppose my initial statement was slightly misleading; what I mean to say is that political freedom is not required in life. Personal freedom, to an extent is, but like I briefly stated before, one may not have any freedom beyond one's own choices, but still be able to live a good and respectable life.

I understand your point, and I agree. A human can live without freedom, but their course of action through life is consequently limited. There is no requirement to life to possess a degree of freedom, of course one can't do many things with such contained freedom, but they still live.
