I wont argue against the nanny filter because I am quite sure its not going away BUT I will say there are times profanity is quite appropriate and can be used to create a humorous punchline, put emphasis on something, used in clever ways and even used in a rather poetic manner ....not that most accomplish those goals when they use it, but I had to interject that there are times I do think its the best and most accurate way to express oneself or to get a point across.

Trust me, profanity has created some of the BEST laughs I ever had and are included in the most standout historic moments of my life (and most likely most who were present! LOL)

I therefore have quite a fondness and even reverence for profanity
