journalists have been killed by US troops....but thats when the troops failed to bother to make sure they were a viable target or not. they weren't targeted because they were journalists, rather because they were shapes in a sight. It wasn't deliberate, just incompetence.

the journalists should have learned the lesson the iraqi civilians have...whne US troops move in, you move out. but thats the nature of the job, and the risk they take.
