The historical declines of many of the greatest nations the world has seen has been generally marked by weak leadership, internal rot, and failure to defend borders as common denominators.

I didn't vote for Bush, but I think he came at the right time. Gore would've furthered Clintonism and taken the road of diplomacy instead of war. Our nation has been under attack for years by a declared enemy, so I'm satisfied that W came out swinging. If the rest of the world wants to see America go down, at least we're not going to go down without a fight.
