I didn't vote for Bush, but I think he came at the right time. Gore would've furthered Clintonism and taken the road of diplomacy instead of war. Our nation has been under attack for years by a declared enemy, so I'm satisfied that W came out swinging. If the rest of the world wants to see America go down, at least we're not going to go down without a fight.
Most amusing, if neither of the Bush guys would have been elected, Saddam would not have come to power, Kuwait would not have been invaded. We would not have ended up in Saudi Arabia, 9/11 would not have happened and so many deaths would have been avoided.

Moral of the story: Stay out of other peoples business.

Obviously, blaming Bush I is silly. He did not know nor was he responsible for what happened. The U.S. was trying to outmaneuver the Soviets. However, the less still stands. We should not be in Iraq. But we just keep jumping in the middle of other countries politics -- then wondering why they get pissed off.

I do like your analogy thought: Dubya comes out swinging… no think involved.

Maybe this is a time for a Homer Simpson DUH!!!!!
