Default Taxes, jobs, and ethics!

As I read, I swear I am reading the transcripts of one of those 3 hr infomercials on the AM dial. Whoa are we, the rich and taken advantage of! PLEASE!!!

The problem with taxes isn’t the unemployed and useless, it is the overpaid and the greedy non-visionaries!!

Ours!! Can anybody please explain to me why during this time of International Terrorist Threat. Politicians, for or against retaliation remind us continuously, that we are all in this together! A shared effort & responsibility is required to protect OUR nation, OUR families, OUR children, OUR resources, OUR land, OUR dignity, OUR security, OUR way of life!! But when it comes to domestic topics like jobs, pay, cost of living, health care, education, and the distribution of wealth, without even an honest dialogue, it instantly reverts back too, “MINE! MINE! MINE!” And keep your filthy stinking hands, out of MY pockets! Don’t you realize that 10% of the population already carries 90% of the tax burden?

This would be true if they actually paid the maximum tax rate but they don’t. Most of the wealthiest pay less than 20% of their so-called obligation. Even though their salary includes their tax commitment, they still get to take advantage of the tax system in a way that 80% of us are incapable. Not to worry, those tax breaks (pay bonuses) are made possible by the other taxes, everybody pays, even those on welfare. Gas, cigarettes, alcohol, and other federally taxed items make up the difference. OUR country has created tremendous wealth from OUR blood, OUR sweat, & OUR tears, and is only made possible by OUR gullibility, so that few of us may prosper. Coincidentally, under the current situation only about 10% of the population can prosper and live the American dream. Why?

Because only management, celebrities, and the privileged are allowed to negotiate wages thousands of times above their actual worth, and the workers carry that burden because their wages are capped. Paying workers based on the profits of the company, and the value of their production, is to say the least counter productive.

Paying workers what they are worth can only create problems, like positive self esteem, confidence, and pride in ones work & accomplishments. Before you know it these unworthy peasants (peasants are and have always been the workers & laborers that are only paid enough to get by, nothing more!) could start to think (education good, thinking bad), which could escalate inner determination, causing motivational self-reliance. Good lord, they might realize they could take the knowledge and experience ‘given’ them (give to the unworthy), and start their own company. Before you know it they could grow, and might even become competitive. You know what competition leads to “DONCHA”?!?! Well designed quality products, cheaper prices, more people prospering & paying taxes (which means lower taxes), a realistic cost of living & an equally realistic division of wealth, more prosperous communities, and less money in the pockets of the rich? Well that my friend, has nothing to do with modern capitalism. For well over 60 years, American corporations, with the help of crooked politicians, have eliminated/discouraged competition, kept wages low, profits high, and opportunities at a minimum. It’s just a matter of time before they devastate the country the way they have already destroyed small town U.S.A. Assume political control, mismanage, cut corners, ignore upkeep, extort & embezzle blatantly, file bankruptcy, give management lucrative bonuses for their achievements (???), then walk away leaving communities, the investors, and the workers (also investors), in ruin. This is American capitalism?

Capitalism- Economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods through investments, not controlled by the ‘government’, with prices, production, and distribution of the goods determined by “competition” in a free enterprise system.

Under this definition, capitalism is only a theory and doesn’t exist in this country, and unfortunately neither does freedom or democracy according to their definitions! If there is no competition, there is no capitalism, and if there is government control (interference) there is no free enterprise.

In a true capitalist democracy, the cost of living would be more realistic, and the value of a dollar would be somewhere around, I don’t know maybe 100cents. That hasn’t been the case for over 30 years. The facts of the last 30 years speak for themselves. Monopolized corporations, and their subsidiaries profits have risen astronomically, executives wages and the cost of living has skyrocketed, but the average American wage earner (someone who works for a living), makes less than the average Saudi Arabian wage earner. We don’t need a higher minimum wage, the last time we did that the cost of everything went up more than the cost of the raises, and the rich took advantage of the situation, and gave themselves another pay raise. Do you really want to pay $4 for a loaf of bread? Workers need to be a shared partner in business, after all they are investors too, or they need to be recognized as such. How dare workers (peasants) ask for more when management is barely making it on their 6,7, and 8 figure salaries, expense accounts, co. credit cards, co. vehicles, profit sharing, stock options, club memberships, condos, lodges, trips/vacations, and those minuscule multi-million dollar bonuses those poor executives are forced to share whether the company shows a profit, “on paper”, or not. In the mean time, the wage earners live paycheck to paycheck and are eligible for food stamps, just to keep it in perspective!! When companies reach the point that these already over paid executives only idea for improving profits is to, raise the price & lower the quality, lower quantity & raise the price, or move the operation out of the country, then logic and common sense should dictate, what is best for those companies is to relieve the real financial burdens and fire those executive leaches, and start restructuring the pay scale!!!!

There is no reason to redistribute wealth, just get the heck out of the way and allow people to be responsible, productive, and be a part of the American dream!!!

Just my opinion! Criticize at will!!
