I agree, and this sentence is the key. PETA is not an animal-cruelty organization; it is a vegan activist organization. Real, responsible animal-cruelty groups probably have little pin-filled PETA voodoo dolls.
I know two people who work for two different groups for animal rights and to say they hate PETA is an understatement. They think they're hypocritical and most importantly do more harm than good.
