I never really dug Superman; I just couldn't root for a guy who was invincible. Spiderman was my favorite as a kid.

When I hit high school, I got into alternative comics. My first favorite remains my lasting favorite: Cerebus. Mage was a close second.

As far as mainstream, while I still enjoyed Spiderman, I harbored a real weakness for the Punisher and Daredevil. the Dark Knight books were good, too.

My comics collection is currently sealed in mylar in my basement, hopefully gaining value daily. I sold my Aliens comics in the mid-90s to pay off some debts, but otherwise the collection is intact.
