Tonight, I will be flying from Washington DC to London, staying at a youth hostel for 7 days, then flying to Berlin to stay for 9 days.
In London, my friends and I are going to see Stonehenge, a bunch of Castles, the British Museum, and the Tower of London. Oh, and its freakin mandatory that we mess with the guards at Buckingham palace. Id like to do something original to them though, not too harsh, but really really funny.
In Berlin ill be going to the Berlin Wall, the Reichstag, and a bunch of other places. My friends and I are taking a train to Heidelberg, where my dad lived for like 5 years, and seeing the sites there.
Well be going to pubs and clubs galore and something more, chatting with the local people, and just having a grand ol' time.
Any other suggestions as to what is cool to do in London or Berlin? We are basically winging it, we havent signed up for any tours.....just kind of showing up and figuring out what to do from there!
There is a 24 hour internet cafe in both hostels, and I believe its free, so I will be able to post links to all the pictures I take, as well as maybe a short journal thingamajig. Ill also be able to check up on current events and maybe debate a bit, given I have the time to.
Ill probably be on every few days, time permitting.
