Also, this comment by President Obama is untruthful. It is not true, and it takes away from the historical nature of our own culture. America is a melting pot. We accept people from all cultures. This is NOTHING like most Islamic countries, in fact it is the opposite. How is it acceptable for our President to put forth inaccuracies when discussing American history abroad?

What you're are deliberately deciding to call appeasement is acting less belligerent and bellicose than the previous administration. There are limits to American power. It is difficult to take out a guy with and rpg with a high tech targeting system from 22,000 feet. The sooner we acknowledge this the sooner we can better defend ourselves. We really cannot go to war with every individual who speaks harshly at the United States. I know, saying that makes us liberals sound weak. If we were listening to the righty's on the forum here we would now be at war with NKorea and Pakistan and invading Somalia, and building up troops on Russia's border for the eminent attack.
Turkey is important to America's security and regional interests. Stating some hyperbole to give the impression of common ground is good politics and the good will pay off potentially is worth a lot more than your level of hormones.
Psssst, here's a secret, I got this on good authority, were not going to launch a missile at every foreigner who says death to America. Just Sayin...
