Ah. This must be the loving Christian behavior I've heard so much about. Win a lot of converts with that, do you?

I honestly wish I could apologize for being so offensive after your conciliatory remarks, but that would make me equally as weak.
Ah. Being civil and respectful is "weak."

Consider this: Being a hard-liner for your belief requires nothing but fanaticism. It takes real strength and confidence to acknowledge the limits of your theology, and to respect those you disagree with.

If you don’t have the mental fortitude to say definitively that you either believe God exists, or doesn’t exist, then shut up!
The world is not binary. "I don't know" is a legitimate answer when, in fact, I don't know. Or are you saying it's a sign of "strength" to assert positive knowledge about something that I don't, in fact, have positive knowledge about?

Is there life on other planets? I'd say the odds favor it. But the only possible answer is "I don't know." Does that mean I lack mental fortitude?

Stop trying to hedge your bets by saying, “Well, it really can’t be proved, or disproved, so why bother talking about it?”
How is that hedging my bets? Hedging my bets would be worshipping multiple gods in different belief systems, as people in ancient times used to do. I don't worship ANY gods.

And if you were paying attention, you'd notice that I enjoy a good theological discussion as much as any believer. Unanswerable questions are inherently fascinating. I just don't lose sleep over them.

Indecision is at the heart of Liberalism and what makes it detestable. Liberals wander through life in a haze of indifference and constantly try to convince others that their lack of conviction is preferable to offending others by taking a firm stance. Get a backbone!
So now I lack a backbone. All because I refuse to discount the existence of God without more evidence. Fascinating.
