Not sure how that would have worked. He rammed the driver's side door as is. To run them both over he would have had to drive up on the sidewalk or something.

But like I said, there will always be incidents. Still, it seems logical to me that if we reduce the availability of guns -- in supply, location and use -- then we reduce the number of incidents like this that prove fatal.

The trick is finding reasonable restrictions that accomplish that goal without unduly hampering gun ownership or self-defense.

If the murderer was willing to wait as long as he did to strike... You seriously think it would have been hard for him to wait 10 seconds more? He took down the fellow's liscense plate number and waited until he had a chance to ram the car. Without a gun, the man murdered will still be murdered... like that lady in Texas who ran over her husband repeatedly.

This ain't about guns chief... it is about murder.
