Reports are still sketchy but this looks valid.

This is when I start to question the US Armed Forces' ability to determine friend from foe.

Too soon to say for sure right now. Initial information is as follows:

"Senior military officials in Washington said their initial information was that U.S. forces conducted a strike on "anti-coalition vehicles" along the Iraqi-Syrian border. Officials are reviewing a videotape showing the bodies of small children in a truck full of bodies and are waiting for word from their commanders in Iraq."

If this was a wedding "celebration".....when in the heck are these people going to stop being so stupid to fire AK47's (in celebration) into the air in a country in the middle of a war? How stupid can one be?
Other reports indicate that the US military had been out earlier to investigate and found nothing amiss. Then at 2.45AM an US Apache helicopter showed up and lit the house up.....

I thought the Iraqi's were free? Why shouldn't they be free to fire their guns in the air at a wedding celebration?

Or is this another "oops" like the wedding party in Afghanistan that got shot to pieces by US forces??

What a mess....
