I read today in the newspaper that the Pentagon is planning to send 1,500 troops to Iraq to assist the troops already there during the two upcoming votes. This seems to contradist the recent talks of pulling troops out of Iraq soon. How can we be considering the possibility of pulling troops out of Iraq and at the same time say we need more troops to stop insurgants from disrupting the national voting process? Once again, the administration is sending us mixed singles about the success of the war.
