I doubt it. I doubt "most Americans" could tell you anything about the War of 1812 or who fought in it, much less ascribe a piece of classical music to it.

Just a suggestion: when you poke fun at American ignorance, try not to spell Napoleon's name like he was a three-flavor variety of ice cream.
