Default 5 Dead Due to Toxic Waters

"Five deaths in Texas and Mississippi have already been attributed to contact with the toxic water, the CDC reported Wednesday, as New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin ordered forced evacuations of residents remaining in the city. Though a large scale outbreak of infectious disease has yet to materialize, the health risks posed by the polluted water remained a top health concern."

Earlier this afternoon it was 3 dead; now it's 5. And yet......thousands STILL refuse to leave their homes and are placing the rescuers in further risk for their own lives.

And YET.....Gov Blanco STILL refuses to back up the Mayor of New Orleans' decision to enforce the Mandatory evacuations that have been in place since last Sunday. She says that is HER deision to make...and she hasn't made it.
