Default Scarry fact is the 5 had a cholera cousin bacteria

I read and my son in law who is an infectous desease specialist (MD) said that those 5 apparently died from an infection caused by a bug that is very closely related to cholera. This is very very very scarry and serious.

I don't mean to sound mean but these evacuees need to be given anti-biotics and quaranteed before they are sent to far off places.

As JP pointed out Texas has taken in a quarter million. How many of them are infected and will they spread diseases to their hosts ?

I realize that by saying what I said I may be accused of racism, eleeitism, arroganc etc. Yet we must help the evacuees but we need to make sure that we to not unnecessarily place the noble hosts at risk.
