Yes, it is stupid to help the most lesser among us. ONLY if they refuse to help themselves.

However, the "working poor" truly are the ones among us(with the notable exception of the handicapped) who deserve a "hand up". They are trying to help themselves.

And these people seem to be who this is aimed at(hopefully I am reading correctly). If it helps those who are trying to the best of their ability and circumstance... to help themselves... them give 'em TWICE what you think they deserve.


Because they deserve it.
