A friend of mine's daughter got a grant to Beauty school which she qualified for by virtue of 1) dropping out of school and 2) being an unwed mother. She's grown-up now and doing very well. I don't mind taxes paying for her schooling. I mind very much that she would not have gotten the help had she stayed in school or not had a baby.

The other thing is that all the people who are living in shelters should have a job as soon as they are able. I mean jobs right there such as cleaning and cooking. Call it tough love.
