Earlier this year President Obama signed legislation which imposed a huge increase on tobacco taxes which certainly effected the taxation being imposed on those earning well less than $250K per year. Candidate Obama stated uncategorically that there would be NO tax increases for those earning less than $250K/yr so his campaign promise has already been broken.
