A LOT of Jews did collaborate with the Nazi's. Just like a lot of the French collaborated with the Nazi's. I have no sympathy for collaborators.

I would not say that " a lot of Jews collaborated most likely very few and relatively rare but unfortunately it did happen.
I have no use for collaborators either. Yet my disgust with collaborators is with those who really were collaborators not all who were accused of "collaboration". My disgust with Weisenthal is that he blanketly accused several and entire ethic groups of collaboration. He used the good will of Americans and other peoples to mount his attacks on innocent people and groups.
What people do not realize or at least most do not realize is that there were victims of Nazi inflicted holocaust who were not Jews. Weisenthal chose not only to forget that but he also chose to accuse innocent people of Nazi collaboration. The other thing that Weisenthal did was that he saved his most vicious attacks not on the people who brought us Nazism - the Germans but he spit most vociferously on the non German victims of Nazism. For that I cannot forgive him.
