Default I'm trying to remeber

Now remember at this time I was a alcoholic young scum bag so my memory of it isn't to well but if I recall correctly the only one that I know of who was against the war was Pat Buchanan. Buchanan took his viewpoint from his "America First" philosophy and calling back to the days of Isolationism. Buchanan's argument is that unless America is directly threatened we should never get involved in any foreign affairs. We should pull out of the United Nations, NATO, the WTO, and any other international organization. I believe he talked about selling arms to help them but not sending American troops to fight "Over there", he kept true to John Quincy Adams quote "America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own."
