The problem is that the language used to write this kind of thing upon first reading sounds ambiguous and benigne. Look at what it says boldened in red:
(c) LIMITATIONON INDIVIDUAL HEALTH INSURANCE
COVERAGE.—
(1) INGENERAL.—Individual health insurance
coverage that
is not grandfathered health insurance
coverage under subsection (a)
may only be offered
on or after the first day of Y1 as an Exchange-par-
ticipating health benefits plan.
This seems to say that unless it is grandfathered in it will not be available, Ask yourself, who will decide if it is or is not to be grandfathered?, and further in connection to other provisions of the bill or provisions of other bills, how will it be taxed, because this bill seems to suggest that unless you have the government option, your health care benefits will be taxed as income.
So you may sling accusations about if you wish, thats fine, but I am thinking about what I read, combined with the sure knowledge that these leftists do not have my best interest at heart, I will error on the side of extreme caution. While pretending to say other wise, Chairman Obama and his merry band of leftists want to do you in the ass, and you will not know until it is too late.
