I agree, on this issue Republicans have voted on candidates based off of their credentials and not their ideology. The Democratic Party though is naturally seeing its "Regan Democrats" get increasingly frustrated and becoming independents, or Republicans. This is leaving the Dem's only with their kook base, and right now the kooks own and run the party, so its only natural that they aren't going to have as much class because right now the inmates run the asylum. I don't know how good of a idea it will be for us to lower ourselves to their standards but it maybe necessary only time will tell. I have no problem fighting like that as long as we don't compromise our principles, and I think it does us much more good to just show the Dem's for what they are, (showing how far from grave they have fallen) and to live up and stand true to our conservative ideals. If we do this we will beat them every time.
