No idea, the story doesn't say.
According to a quick Google search, there were a couple of polls taken last week by Maariv and Yediot Ahronet -- both Hebrew dailies.
The Maariv poll found that 40% favor talks with Hamas if Hamas renounces violence; another 27% support talks with no strings attached.
The Yediot poll had 48% favoring talks with Hamas, and 43% opposed.
I don't know if those were the two polls being referred to.
