Stop trying to live your life according to how others feel. You cannot expect to live up to anyone else's expectations than your own. Take a stand that is in line with YOUR core values. You can only be yourself and live up to your own expectations. You will ALWAYS anger others. Get used to it.

You will encounter anger and conflict all of your life. The trick isn't to avoid it or try to appease others until everyone's happy. There is NEVER a time when everyone's happy. True peace isn't the absence of conflict, it's the presence of justice. Do what's right. Stand up for those ideals.
