I don't like ideologies. They're limiting.
Right now, due to the uselessness and conservative leftism (sounds like an oxymoron, but I mean their clinging to leftist programs that don't work and not doing anything to reform them, just making excuses) of the Crat Party, I feel the Libertarians are the best choice for me right now, despite being a liberal more than a libertarian. I'm a capitalist, but I think that a minimal welfare state should exist to take care of the economic problems that people are too lazy to fix themselves regardless of whatever "personal responsibility" rhetoric they like to use. I think personal responsibility is something to extend to helping out those around you when you can, not just a convenient way to excuse why someone is in a crappy situation.
But I've been known to switch ideologies as they suit me. Underneath it all, I have some core beliefs but the world changes and the ideologies lag. Ideologies are really just mental traps anyway.
