The original followers of Jesus still considered themselves Jews and only accepted Jewish converts until Paul finally convinced them to accept everybody, regardless of faith. Only then did Christianity begin to break away from Judaism as it attracted more and more converts who didn't observe Jewish law. Face it Sham, your beloved Christian religion orginated as a Jewish sect. Whether is was condemned by the Pharisees is irrelevent as the Pope, at one time or another, condemned virtually all Christian sects not associated with Catholicism, yet they are all still considered Christian.
BTW, I am curious. What sect of Christianity are you a member of?
