Default .

I for one would like to line these monsters up who did this & have a firing squad rid us of the disease they bring to this world.

And I would pay for the bullets.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was really that easy? But after the firing squads walk away, if, without consideration, you use terrorist like methods to root out further suspects (and it's found out by the world), you'll have little or no support among the people of whatever region they're from. And guess what? You'll create more haters and terrorists. People aren't born terrorists - we act as if that's the case sometimes.

To arrive at a successful LONG TERM solution to this sickness, we are going to have to find the root causes of the situation. Why is it that Al Qaeda is continuing to find success in recruitment... while the war on terror marches on?

Playing John Wayne works fine in fighting battles with at hand situations. But I don't see any evidence that it'll work longer term. Do a quick read on the Shining Path. Tell me what you think. See any similarities? Americans are sometimes too quick to offer a solution when they barely understand the problem. This craziness wil go on forever if we don't get some thinking people to plan our strategies.
