Buddha stated that he saw no evidence to suggest that God exists. Further, it does not matter anyway because if God does exist there is no evidence that He interferes in the lives of people or (more importantly) that the Four Noble Truths or the Eightfold Path are in any way invalid. Which is the major thing for Buddhists. So it's possible to be a Buddhist and believe in no God, one God or many Gods. Various forms of Buddhism do have gods, but like with everything in Buddhism it's nothing like in Western thought. The gods do not actually exist, they are merely manifestations of certain noble qualities. I have a scroll of a Buddhist god on the wall of my bedroom. But it's only to remind me of something. The god does not exist in the Western sense.
I am and will likely remain an atheist. I simply see no evidence to support the existence of God.
