I tend to make a distinction between an atheist who believes in gods as noble concepts from an atheist that sees no place for gods at all. Your view of gods is similar to mine, except I believe my gods to also be part of a larger unknown supernatural being that our minds cannot fully wrap around. That slight distinction makes me a pantheist.
I wonder why they use "nontheist" in the text. Is that the PC version?
