Not believing that jesus performed miracles wouldn't make him non-christian. Certain Christians just don't believe the miracle stories. And I don't really think that believing Mary was impregnated by Joseph would make him non-christian either.
There are Christians who are subscribing to the Da Vinci Code now. I don't know anywhere in the bible that says "You must believe in the virgin birth to be saved" but I didn't know either that a Christian can pick and choose which parts of the bible to believe, but it is certainly not up to me to decide for them. As for myself, I'm just not taking any chances.
