PS
Pork, shellfish, etc. are a part of the dietary law. Holding to the dietary law does not make one holy. Only Christ makes one holy in God's sight. Second, in the vision of Peter recorded in Acts, God reveals to Peter these sorts of foods are no longer unclean. The early Church, at their council in Jerusalem, addressed dietary rules, circumcision and other wholly Jewish traditions and beliefs. Again, this is also covered in Acts. The early Church, after much debate, determined these traditions were no longer necessary or in keeping with God's plan of salvation.
