I don't think being Isolationist would help America. There are alot of Toyota plants in the U.S. and Canada that provide high quality jobs to the local people. There is no reason to pursue isolationist policies when foreigners are providing your citizens with high-quality jobs and good cars. |
We shouldnt be having to depend on foreign nations for high-quality jobs or good cars. The government needs to step in and get American industry up with the rest of the world so that we wont have to be dependent on other nations, and Americans cannot be truly politically independant unless their first economically independant. Economic independance would keep us out of all wars that didnt concern us and if we were economically independant the Iraqi war wouldnt be raging on right now.
