Oil was not the justification used for the war at any time. Please post evidence to the contrary.
If Congress and the American Masses had not been convinced Saddam was a military threat, the war would not have happened. That is the primary justification. You can argue that Congress and the American Masses were decived or manipulated (you'd be wrong, but you could argue that). But you cant say the war was about oil. No elected official I am aware of has ever said such a thing.
